SimpleScripts Integration Process

Step by Step overview of integrating SimpleScripts into your systems.

Step 1. Make sure SimpleScripts works on your server.

Create a SimpleScripts client account. Run through an installation by selecting a script, entering your FTP account details, and completing the process. If any errors crop up, send them to us along with a test account we can use to follow up.

Step 2. Create a SimpleScripts Host Account.

You'll receive a couple of API keys to use in the next two steps. Ignore the customization options for now, we'll come back to those.

Step 3. Add the Client Login API.

This enables single click logins from your interface to ours, and passes account memory, FTP login information, API access information (covered later), and landing preferences such as the landing page and locale.

Step 4. Create the Database/Domain APIs.

If you run a generic control panel for your users, chances are we already support automatic database creation/removal and domain listings. If you run a custom interface, you'll want to create an API that SimpleScripts can access to enable these functions. This part requires interaction with our team, so contact us when you get to this stage.

Step 5. Update your Preferences.

Log back in to your SimpleScripts Host account, and setup your script list, delivery preferences, client interaction, branding, and more.

Step 6. Quality Assurance.

Run tests on each of the scripts you've selected, and make sure everything looks and works the way you expect.

Step 7. Turn it on.
